Carnaby is an integrated independent production and sales company of high quality feature film, television, and multi-media properties. The company was launched in January 2001 with the specific purpose of financing and producing British feature films. The aim is to encourage investment in the burgeoning UK film industry by means of public offerings of shares under the Government's Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS). Britain has a vast pool of talented film-makers and actors and, with the help of our investors, Carnaby is able to bring outstanding home-grown writing, acting and production talent to the big screen.
To date, Carnaby has produced and co produced eight feature films including Lighthouse Hill, Spivs, The Last Drop, Are You Ready For Love, Dolphins, Daddy’s Girl, Caught in the Act, and our UK smash hit Rise of the Footsoldier. Production is about to begin on the comedy-horror project Doghouse starring Danny Dyer.
Carnaby’s continued success is based on our strong links to the creative community, in particular writers, directors, and actors; our strong links with financial partners within the UK, Europe, and North America; and our reputation for innovation and creativity.
A number of exciting new EIS projects and investment opportunities are in the pipeline and details on all of these will be released shortly.
